Is this sex ? by Tony Young
Are you the dream I long for every night
and do you taste what you can always have
can we enjoy worn and broken cotton threads
and through such touch each others skin
then lace up each others lips
with licks of saltiness and sin
and hold each other only in our nakedness
for we undress quickly as we caress
could we love truly without knowing it's definition
for we have not loved this way before
to taste the wine, yours, mine,
together re-define, rearrange the floor..

Posted by Joan Serratelli on 11/08/06 at 12:52 AM I have read this about 10 times. In answer to the title Is this Sex? I don't think it is. I think it's LOVE- something much more important and sexy than just sex! Great write. Your imagery is fantastic! I could see the room and the would-be lovers. |
Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 11/12/06 at 10:51 PM Is is is? LOL!! Sounds like sex, looks like sex, smells like sex. Probably is sex (even though in intense imagining). Your words sizzle without being explicit! |
