I never thought I would see the day
I would have to let you go,
No matter how much I try
I do not want it to be so.
You were a special person
And my best friend,
You were a very loving person
Right to the end.
I keep on thinking of all the
Trips we used to go on,
I hate to let those go
And have to tell you so long.
I can't help but cry since
You have passed away,
I can only find comfort
In knowing I will see you again one day.
