my eyes only see red-orange by Ava Blu
when I went to sleep,
my head was full of red-orange
red-orange guilt,
freedom, regret,
choice
and I thought it had something to do with
fire
but I never did acquire the taste for burning
instead, I am mesmerized at watching from afar
as people dream in blazes of fireworks
and I stand 66 feet away
with the after affects still lingering
around my tongue.
