caught in neon

by Peter Humphreys

rain pours
down window
caught in neon
as glass curtains
unparting in an
absent wind

below a few
souls scurry
heads bent
private dry
inner lives
drenched in
sheets of rain
and puddle
muddled pavements

up in a garret
a light shines
low
level
lustful
loving
lythe

I enjoyed the shape of this piece to accent it...inner lives drenched in sheets of rain and puddle muddled pavements... great line. I related to it. my muddles are puddled in pavement as well. Really enjoyed this
