In Media Res by Joe CramerI suffer the slings and afflictions
Of Middle School English Language Arts.
The writing of prompts
Some conjugations of verbs.
My mind goes blank, numb
From perusing all of the pages
When I'd rather read some poetry.
Does anyone have an extra copy of Nash?
I need some levity, some merriment, mirth!
Instead, I suffer from the morose,
The angst that the Dane knew,
Though I don't have a Yorrick
To bring some much needed relief. 03/15/2003 Posted on 11/02/2006 Copyright © 2026 Joe Cramer
