A Matter Of Fate by Joan SerratelliIt was merely
a matter of fate
that they met
two people
from two different worlds
found each other
and fell
so deeply in love
It should never
have happened
two people so different
found each other
and their lives
would never
be the same
It became a connection
so strong
and even though
they would never
be together
the love grew
stronger over the years
It would last
forever
their lives
intertwined
and became on
It could never
be broken
It would just grow
And when all
was said and done
it was that love
without reason
that saved them
They would go
to their graves
never meeting
but that was
not what mattered
What mattered was
the bond-the silence
that became them
their love 10/29/2006 Posted on 10/29/2006 Copyright © 2025 Joan Serratelli
