Allergy by Richard TrotterI wear the urges
but have not the might
jaundiced foundations
lack the means to fight,
defend with polished armour
so proud of copper fright,
the lovely smiling legions
yield the scenes of white.
Kneel and vow at the altar
to live by fractured rule,
not see my eyes alive,
blown apart and cruel,
I'll fix you like a puzzle,
manipulate a tool,
burn everlasting ashes
to pinpoint when its cool.
