Odysseus, King of Ithaca
Knew a little
About fate.
His pride, his hubris
Leads to a ten year run
Of bad luck.
Could we but say
This is an Odyssean
Attraction for misfortune?
At least he didn't
Suffer from the complex
That Oedipus suffered from.
Marry your mother after
You kill your father?
And what about the kids?
