Man in the Moon (a Lullaby)

by Genevieve Sturrock

God made stars to shine at night
So there will always be at least a little light
God put the face on the man in the moon
So He could smile down at you in your bedroom

God is great, God is wise
He put the sun and the clouds up in the sky
God is good, God is kind
Believe in Him and you will have peace of mind

And anything you should need
Simply ask of God and you will receive
Should you doubt this is true
Just remember, God gave me you

Should you doubt, God's love is true
Always remember, God gave me you
Please remember, God does love you
