Summer Fling. by Frank LeeMy sharp tongue, bitter against something I cant define
let me down again, and
This time it hurts.
Ill break your heart eventually,
I once boasted confidently
but now,
the knife is stabbing (me), piercing (me), twisting (me),
relentlessly.
Constantly seeking attention and acting obnoxious,
guzzling booze and winding up unconscious,
She saw straight through my psychosis.
You cant bullshit a bullshitter,
I cant say she ever earned my trust,
Thought it was another case of summertime lust,
but it must
have been something different
because the knife is stabbing (me), piercing (me), twisting (me),
relentlessly.
