what's this generation coming to?

by Charlie Morgan

'...are you dressed?, you better be girl...what kind of shirt you wearin'...
call me when you get down here, you know when you get close...'
and then she starts telling stephanie about how she
better not wear those koochie cutter shorts
and how they make camel toes...
i stretched my 59 years of understanding
and so far i have some clues...

Very funny, Charlie! I'm 33 and when I look at these "young" kids I can see the generation gap getting wider & wider. :) Koochie shorts are the ones all the music-video girl's wear, aren't they? ;)

Isn't it funny how the older you get, the more life points it out!!! Another great write Chaz, I'm 38 with a 17 yr old daughter and I know exactly what you mean.
