Equal by Razel DaviesYou can't have guns,
He said,
As he held a Glock,
To my head.
You can't wield a sword,
He said,
With a blade,
To my neck.
We can have weapons,
We can have power,
We can have all the things,
That we deny to you.
We are oppressive,
We are dictators,
While we command you,
To obey democracy.
All men are created equal,
He said,
Looking down at me.
All men are equal,
But some are,
More equal than others. 10/11/2006
Author's Note: Who gets to deciede who deserves nuclear weapons?
Can anybody be trusted with them?
Is it only the powerful that can be allowed even more power?
