Don't you miss? by Joy Sydon't you miss?
those flights of fancy
the make believe tales
of knights, castles and maiden fairs
the wondrous, languorous hours
playing house,
with blankets as curtains,
pillows as chairs
and silly plastic kitchenware
the running around, just because
grass stains, a battle we've always lost
and no matter what you say
Wonder Woman can beat Superman any day

Posted by Nicole D Gregory on 01/26/09 at 07:32 PM I love this! I smiled and laughed... had the themes from both super heroes going through my head. PERFECT! Congratulations on POTD! Makes today's overcast weather conditions impenetrable to my little-person memories! Thanks! ~N |
