This morning one of the old buses at Hyde bus station turned a somersault.
One moment it was quietly parked. The next it flipped right over and landed
with a slight thump of rubber, swaying gently from side to side.The driver
climbed shakily from the cab. His face was blotched pink and white with fear.
"I'm not bloody Noddy," he said. "I'm out of here. I'm going home to walk me
flippin' dog." All we at the bus stop laughed and clapped. One man cheered.
We were all embarrassed really. Didn't quite know what to say. We'd not
seen a driver do that before. Probably won't again. That's why we laughed.
