Stars and Planets (1&2nd attempts) by A. Paige White
Stars and planets ply the heavens.....
Supervisors map the fair
Angels and demons play not harps down here
At war they're everywhere.
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Comets are shots of war
The moon's a camera
Lightening a digital flight repast
We've shot the moon before.
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Many a love struck gaze they draw
Many a waving fist in the night
The sons of man run aground
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Angel chariots are racing out there
Then swing so low resonating the songs they hear
The quieted are listening in prayer.

2nd attempt:
Stars and planets ply the heavens
Supervisors map the fair
Sparrows may fall in threes and sevens
Still, Deity is counting our hair.
Stars and planets ply the heavens
angels are scrolling us all.
October's black cats strut into houses
They yowl when they come to call.
The heavens ply planets and stars
We gaze at their travels in awe
as we're stuck in gas powered cars.
We gaze at pictures the scientists have seen
Some few walk on the moon
we view from a televised screen
The astral nautical buggy rides,
Are they gas powered too?

Author's Note: Ewwww.... I'm seriously considering... I've seen the poetriage ad.... I don't know if this can be resuscitated. I think it fell into a deep sleep as it was written. It's making me yawn. I'll be asleep soon...
A black cat just ran through my house, lol, after terrorizing me with his apparent explorations. It's an open door evening. You just never know what manor of neighbors will drop in.
