puddle

by Travis G Finborg

that was dissolved sanity
i saw it puddle on the floor
a fizzed pool of poetic
placidity, it ate through
an ugly gray carpet,

a shade
squirmed in my view

like the glaring sun
on the bleached sands of a beach,
My shoes appeared to sizzle and crack
under the heat of oppressive
consciousness.

I  make
people uncomfortable, the green
lagoon of my sanctity is
empty and smells sweeter
than then evacuated souls
after a holocaust
