Little Rabbit

by Razel Davies

Run run,

Little rabbit.

Fast little legs.

Run run,

Get away.

Run run,

And live your life.

Run run,

Little rabbit,

Before you die.

Quickly move,

Stand still,

Your end.

Lift your breath,

Take your bow.

Never stop,

Never motionless.

Deaths cold,

Catching fast.

So,

Run run,

Little rabbit.

Fast little legs.

Run run,

Get away.

Run run,

And live your life.

Run run,

Little rabbit,

Before you die.

This poem rings so true- I liked the repition and the visualization of the poor little rabbit running for it's life. Excellently told!
