Grandad Albert

by Dave Fitzgerald

Grandad Albert went to town
Riding on a donkey,
He took it down to the Racehorse track
And found its legs were wonkey.

So then old Albert bought a horse.
It trained in Albuquerque.
But the gamblers were not fooled,
They called it Alberts Turkey!

Author's Note: I never had a Grandad Albert, but I dare say the ones I had were just as daft :)
