Poor Seymour!

by Joan Serratelli

Seymour would not like this
not one little bit
he'd scream, he'd yell
he'd shake his head in disbelief
in fact, he'd throw a fit

And after that, he stop talking
he wouldn't say a word
to any of us
until his mad was done

No, Seymour wouldn't like this
he was used to getting his way
and this situation
is one that
he just wouldn't have a say

But, in the end
he'd forgive us
he really always did
because Seymour always loved us
and would never go away

Author's Note: I've been thinking about my Dad alot lately. There's a family ":situation" going on now that I wish he was around to see.

Nicely done, I often wonder "what would Dad think about this?" It helps, it's like advice. Well done Joan.

Hi Joan. So clearly stated. Like a tribute by way of sorrow. Well done. Thanks.

Yes, I can see love subduing the anger, permeating every thing, eventually.
