"A Wonderful Distraction"

by Max Phineas

Amid the heaps of ashes
Incinerated universe
The raging Sun- a Death Star,
You stand.
Your brightness radiates off of my being
I am captivated, frozen.

Gravity inverts,
And we are pulled toward infinity.
Glorious nothing encloses our figures.

You,
My sense amid chaos
My everything among nothing.
My wonderful distraction.

You should be some sort of sci-fi, fantasy writer...writing about the inner galactic universe or something! o.o
