Knowing
I belong
life has all been lived before
these mistakes
that my I creates
have all been made before
knowing I belong
to We
Therefore
knowing keeps me strong
My I not frightened anymore
right or wrong
My I to we, thus all belong
Our I has all been done before
08/30/2006 Author's Note: This is why "I" visit graveyards to remind "me" that it has indeed all been done before. There are no fresh footprints in my mind, someone somewhere went through this path before and survived so "I" can too.
