...ol' new o'lens ... by Charlie Morgankatrina was a year ago,
and he sang of her today.
when his guitar twanged,
and the harmonica broke-in
chill bumps jostled the air in front of me,
as the sound pierced through it, then my ears.
a harmoniously beautiful wail of tragedy
stabbed my heart with a crying smile.
