Dreaded Bliss

by Tracy Ellen

I knotted you hair this weekend
Hours and hours, hands cramping
A hairstyle requiring the least tend
No more brushing, no more vamping

My metal comb so quickly vicious
Attacking your long brown locks
Your lips pout, so sweetly delicious
Hands moving ‘round the clocks

Rolling and waxing your fair strands
Grinning, you lovingly tease and joke
Holding your strength in my hands
While you make me laugh ‘til I choke

Firing an elastic, pepperin’ a new dread
Our rosy friend smiling like a sly bandit
You sit between my knees with tilted head
And I’m so happy, I can hardly stand it.

I rather enjoyed this. I must ask tho....is the rosy friend who I think she is? Or is it just my dirty mind?
