In This by Maria Terezia FerenczIn this
lying land lush and green
lulled to sleep by whispering stream
into life a wondrous dream
was born
In this
dream you speak to me
lying life how it would be
if me to you and you to me
could form
In this
skin to skin we would fit
lying tight in seamless knit
love once denied we now submit
We transform
In this
no more me and you, now us within
lying no more, our only sin
let this soul synthesis begin
Be reborn 08/21/2006
Author's Note: In This...is all there is

| Posted by Leslie Ann Eisenberg on 08/22/06 at 02:55 PM this keening mantra touches me so. i was lulled by the rhythm and rhyme scheme, and by great phrasing: lying land, lying life, be reborn...love stanza 3! in this life, dreams are what we own, and that's it! a wonderful prayer of hope for a better life. a life of truth, filled with what is most desired. the heart's fondest wish, may it come true! ooo's pk |
| Posted by Ashok Sharda on 08/22/06 at 03:56 PM Yes, in this, it IS. There isn't an observer or the observed, they have just merged into one. There's just an awareness of WHAT IS.There is nothing beyond what IS. |
