mama's mirror

by Charlie Morgan

in mama's mirror
flamingos abound; foreground,
among the lilies,
in the distant trees.

the mirror sheen has her eyes
captured in the 50s
as she looked at the same.

flamingos in mirrors don't age.
or die.

she lives in reflections.

Hi Charlie, It's lovely tribute for your Mom. Never really thought about a mirror like that before.
