Blushing for accomplishing, an overcoming

by Mary J Anna

One look to unravel my infinites, if for the moment I stand and face you
I look further, deeply, as my youth's courage would accomplish
Young Loving, how much can I dare to grasp? You offer me Jupiter.
How much more my age can learn now- from one golden eye-
and you've two.

I asked for a crystal ball, that I might find you in my nighttime-
scrying-
I draw you in my every craft- here first, as I fill lines
A simply solid gold round, I see in the black eye, so soft and inside
filled, justified, the eight to fourteen- speaking indefinite divides.

I remember the simplicity of our lips locking, small
at the first time, the instant blossoming.
The best first kiss I've ever had was
in a nanosecond, even,
and not on a side.
