Half Life

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

He (my match)
furtive firebrand
Frankly
just man
so(ul) fuel divine

kindled to flame he ignites
raising from dead yet again
in deep dark night
alight with half life
opening myself to him

I afire burned free
essentia of light
enliven Me
illuminating my half life
my match ignites
to fire each time

whitehot passion consumed by fire
knowing all the while
A fire so bright
too soon must die
tis only half life for me

"A fire so bright too soon must die" Mores of the mournful... standing in each other's ashes... mingling... Loved this.
