you wanted a gardner, so I wasted my dreams by Ava Bluquarter lilies
pushing up the window sill
I am falling over and under and and and
[I am falling underneath this]
my fingernails green
from digging up your flowers
I resort to sleeping in the dirt
lay your stone near my head
as I cry to the soil
I would live to witness
the rain falling from your hair
but I can't keep away from the garden
line the fence around
keep me tangled in the roots
your quarter lilies
are dying. 08/07/2006
Author's Note: a randomness I barely understand...
