you say you like that you can see inside my heart...

by Vere Mantratriad

full title: you say you like that you can see inside my heart... so why is it wrong that it's made of glass?

windows speak to me
in tongues tied with
a knowledge that they
can close off whenever
the moment becomes
too moving to hold in
all that they guard
with a thin veil of glass
pained and prodded by
a making of wind
bearing your name
gliding over whispers
that call out
"how will you protect
what all can see?"

Just because all can see, not all can touch. Like the comparisons in this. Well done!
