"Sad City"

by Max Phineas

Lonely Skyline seldom sleeps
under sullen stars.
Its whispers echo
into the misty aquamarine.

The buildings bellow empty notes,
Hollowed in the vicious vacuum
That has enveloped a city-
Its golden spark extinguished long ago.

Here exists the vacancy
Where the Invincible once reigned.

Wow, I love it. Especially the title. It's very...sad... -sigh-
