bent
over this
flat and
fertile
land
lights
flash
lights
search
lights
sound
a warning
to
life’s passing
folk
like
you and
me that
travel our
own personal
sea
that havens
wide
and havens
shy
reside
within
our inner
mind
as on
life’s way
we go
and bat
and
beam
when nere
be seen
are
there
just
there below
