i'll pin pictures on the wall


of you and i in someone else's shoes


two steps closer to where we aren't


three steps seperated from what we want


and a lifetime away


from where we should be.


though pictures fade. and fold into nothing


and the thoughts drift into memory,


then into dream, the idea of being more than i am


will always have you included,


and for want of something more


the idea never dies.
