Personal Evolution

by Deborah Breuer

We're two of a kind,
You and I.
Frightfully, two peas in an exceedingly cramped pod,
Fulfilling all of a gemini's personality quarks between us.
And I have come to feel unfulfilled within myself.
You've left your mark,
instinctivelly gaining new ground,
Infultrating each of the many portals contained within the labrynth of my supercilious creativity.
Egotistically engaging in each villinous battle where it is page against poet,
You've interveened in my ability to conquer and conquer alone.
I now have come to depend on you as my muse,
Occasionally carrying me through the convolution of my,
Or so I thought,
My personal evolution.
