bad math by Frankie Sanchezthis piece is ergonomically designed
with you in mind,
you turn in u-turns never stabilizing long enough,
never harnessing potential,
never equating the equation,
it's bad math
this zodiac, this horoscope, this poetry,
just like me; unbalanced
and i'm such an equation that i require letters
not words,
leading you to suggest that i'm hard to read
and i imagine myself looking like hieroglyphics,
only you're the cave i want to leave my markings in, on,
i'm just digging for your opening
until you let me in
and keep me warm
long enough for me to leave my story on your walls.

Posted by Steven Kenworthy on 07/03/06 at 03:13 PM i like this. one of your better pieces IMO. on a numb day, i can see humans like equations or serial numbers which is kind of what i get here, but then at the same time, you make it personal. i love to breakdown people's walls as well...get inside and then wonder if they'll understand me. it's a beautiful process. i'd always rather be complex like hieroglyphics though, it shows substance. good times here frankie. |
