Memoranda: The Darkness by Steven Craig
There is no way to satisfy paranoia. There will always be a little mistrust, the overpowering doubt. And always the inability to give fully without the fear that it will be wasted in a folly for one who will, eventually, perpetrate an injustice that will justify all the disbelief and all that was withheld.
To this end, the detection and satisfaction of confronting the person with the distasteful deed, this intangible proof that positively proves them to be correct in their feelings, for this, each second of your life must be observed, cataloged, and accounted for.
And any one moment that is not precisely and clearly noted in a mental log of indescribable attention to detail, will leave open a port of insatiable mistrust and malice that neither denial or admittance will relate to.
