June Bug Moon Song by Nicole AssenzaIm singing the moon song
Every night now
The space age and its television dreams
Addict me
Dont soothe me
Satellites cant calm me
This mania makes perdition
Hello my name is
Lunatic anonymous
American werewolves
Picking at my bones
Succinct teeth sink
And a new triptych forms
My soul sucked away
In the blankets of darkness
Its all loneliness
From this point on
Theres a humane way to end it
Morning light a cathode ray
Streaming anesthetics
The way angels must have
Putting down the war dogs
Newspaper weapons line the floor
Offense against
Flies of anxiety
Shelter against
The boiler room outside
They float into
My second floor tomb
Orbit around
My paranoid night stand lamp
A Gatsby green light
For a girl who forgot how to sleep
At night
Until August Ill go on
Singing the moon song
