Metamorphosis by Kim BennettWhat's wrong with the conforming majority?
Wrapped like mummies in their absolute truth.
Blind to necessity, the reality
of complete equality. Brainwashing youth
to hate "the fags," the other religions,
pagans, "children of Satan". Go forth, strip
and conquer all nations, who dare question
the sanctity of the smiting syndicate.
Those who commit the sin of loving life
lose because their sheer protest to submit
to hypocrites who embrace victimizing lies
burning logic in a parable pit.
Listen and learn, turn wraps to cocoons. Bliss
of difference will only flourish
through metamorphosis. 06/04/2006 Author's Note: Another poem about why I don't like Christianity. There needs to be a huge change. I've noticed a pattern about really large things in this country. America, Christianity, and Wal-Mart, so I've noticed, all start out with great ideas of equality and love but never pull through with it. It's rather sad.
