conquests across pillowcases

by Frankie Sanchez

he slides his head to the side, thinking
to himself,
and all you can be sure of
is that he is not contemplating
the brown-ness of his skin
or the intensity of his eyes
or the way his naked body looks
curved around these blankets,

he thinks before sliding his hand
down
towards
delicate places,

and you're all virgo-induced,
panic-stricken, over-thinking,
you must analyze his body's naked language,
curling like a serpent
with a grip on actuality,

his mind is a steel trap,
yours is a loaded gun,
he sighs and the clock ticks

to remind you that time much like love
is a concept
ticking away,
and you need not forget that a throbbing heart
is merely a sign of high blood pressure,
it's blood pumping,
it's emotional stress,

and when he looks at you with illuminated eyes
and he touches himself,
when he looks at you, waiting
for you to touch him too,
you need not begin your analytical search
for a more modest approach,

don't let your mind wander,

time is love unspent, love is pain well-kept,
pain is truth unfurled, truth is time well-spent,
but that does not mean you have to think about it,
not now,

you too are a cycle,
with not one true conclusion,
with no end,
with nothing but possibility,

he tilts his head,
he offers you a cli...max,
he is muffled by,
the clock is muffled by
moans...

and to think
you were once undecided.

need you be reminded that
memo is still short for memorandum
and so what
if deli is not really short for delicate,
you're the one
re in venting mode sty,

all he has to do is lie there and enjoy it.

thats some pretty good work. you have a pretty interesting tone and style to your writing which is very rare and attention grabbing without being overstated or egotistical (not to mention that is extremely difficult to do). I'm not sure if most people here will truly be able to comprehend that though.
