you should be here right now

by Vere Mantratriad

love me, adore me
then you start to bore me
as I burrow into you
circling around your sky eyes
like a vulture screeching
extending my hand over charcoal
still dying out from a thousand nightÂ’s before

still, I break the waves
that rush over me when I think of
where you might be
who you might be with
what you might be without
because I knocked far too many times

voices swirl
sisters bake
and I think
of more things
to take

Were your eyes green, bleeding into brown when you wrote this. It sounds like it, but I'm not really sure. Please tell.. Outstanding piece as usual
