A Life... and Kicking.

by Dave Fitzgerald

I served ubiqitous,
Falling from the skies,
Memories good and bad,
Burn deep within my eyes.
My knees have turned to rubble
And my back is shot,
But given life to live again
I would keep my lot.
When I'm on my death bed
With the ferryman left to pay,
I'll pay my dues gladly
Knowing I always seized my days.

Carpe diem, mate. Always better to regret what you didn't do, and celebrate what you did. Nice one.

This is such a great message and so well stated.
