Vision quest by Kelvin TanI ponder upon,
A restless night
The meaning of life,
As a dreamer might
Where better to start,
Than at the end?
Death, the great journey,
I must comprehend
So I die to the world,
Gripping but a lifeline,
Entering the portal,
To find the divine
Gone is the vagueness
Of my little ego,
I contemplate the constellations,
Especially Virgo
Soaring towards the brightest
In this field of stars,
Vowing to find truth,
As I spin past Mars
Swirling vortices,
Each thundering an overture
I pop into one, tumbling
Clockwise into the future
Sinking in to
The ambient dark matter,
The Universe blinks.
I am
forever...
Purple space...
Vastness...
Flying dragons...
Oneness...
A gentle knowing,
Permeates my being.
I've found my Truth!
To which I now cling
Silently nodding,
My travel's end,
I click my fingers,
Rejoining the land
A glimpse of Him
I may have had,
I still don't know
Why the world is mad
Nor have I a clue of
Armadillos, Elvis, measles,
Or His special fondness
For those damn beetles
