Bruises are grim

by Rebecca Lin

I'm very fragile,
but not that beautiful kind of fragile
where people fawn upon you
and try to keep you together so your loveliness can last.
I'm the kind where people laugh at you,
forget you exist or toy with you-
steps building up to the point
where you break all-together.

So weak and pathetic.
Not one thought passes by in my mind
where I don't think of what didn't happen.

Is it so hard to keep a promise?
Don't ever make one to me again,
if you don't fucking plan on keeping it.
Make it easier on the both of us.

People keep telling me
"he's not worth it,"
but it's more like the other way around.
So many people love him.

I'm just... well, it doesn't matter...
But you should be able to see me.
I'm colorful-
red, purple and yellow.

Wow. very expressive. But I certainly don't see you that way.

For not making sense, this is pretty insightful;dare i say revealing?
