Wine by Christopher ShinStarlight flickers with each
beat of radeness in the bossom
of youth in the darkest times.
When all the world seems to
bleed with the darkest blur
of hope in the misery of youth.
All we can do is cry.
A glimmer of hope dangles
with the flowing of bloody
liquor that fills the brim
of our broken lips.
Cracked with the sunlight
we continue to linger in
the summer sun.
Love like a daisy rose from
the ashes of souls that
scream in one.
World have you forsaken
the humanity of life?
So let darkness cloud the
empty void of youth and
growing up.
As tall glasses burn
in the veins of all,
let all who despair
upon high scatter
in all that bends us.
So let my haze fade,
and the hope of youth
die with you.
With love that is gone,
and hatred of life
fill the bitter grapes to
the brim.
And let the end come,
and let me only know
that life is spent
dying. 05/07/2006 Posted on 05/07/2006 Copyright © 2024 Christopher Shin
