for your love

by Vere Mantratriad

sometimes, not all times,
I stop and wonder
where you wander
when the corners
of your lips crease
and I can see the time
passing by over your brow

sometimes, not all times,
I stop and I follow
where you wander
trying to see
what may be a glimpse
of what it could be like
deep inside of your skull

sometimes, not all times,
I stop and I catch
where you wander
flashes of your lifetime
speeding in blow by blow
skittering through rearviews
in your mind's eyelids

sometimes, not all times,
I stop and I wait
where you wander
caught in a memory
wishing to relive your rewind
hoping to live inside
vying for your love

I've felt this same way (sometimes, not all times, heh!) and the way you brought me in with the 1st verse was powerful.
Brilliant walk in the mind of a wonderer.

Hi Vere, Beautiful piece of work, full of emotions. Love can be something else at times. keep up the good works.

I'm writing this through my tears Vere. Thank God this is not on paper or it would be pretty much soaked. Suffice it to say that this write seems to me a tenderly painful plea for a love at least as great as yours. Many have been or are in the same position. Small comfort I know. I say this with love, never settle for less, ask nothing less than all. We all deserve that. Congratulations on what seems to me, your master piece so far, I haven't read all your work yet, but I will.

Unbelievably brilliant. Soft yet pointed. Wow. Congrats on a perfect POTD
