Posted by Junemarie Roldan on 10/26/09 at 12:25 AM Hi Joan,
I'm back for a while, when I saw the title of your poem I just had to read it, and then Ijust had to comment. After smoking 5 packs a day, I finally got fed up with being a slave to nicotine. I ordered some Zyban, a prescription medication, which I used in the past twice and both times I quit for a year and a half. I have now been smoke free for 1 year, nine mons, 3 weeks, 4 days, 7 hrs,9 minutes, and 25 secs. The reason I know down to the seconds how long I've been smober is because I downloaded a neat little program called 'Silk Quit 2'. It gives you all of the following info. Total smober time, total amount of money you've saved in that time, how many cigarettes you have not smoked, and how many days you've added to your life so far. The program is real tiny and sits in your windows tray at the bottom of your pc. Seeing this info. everyday really motivated me to keep going at least one more day. I know everyone's different, But the Zyban makes it the easiest quit I've ever done. I ordered a 90 day supply for a $123.00, and that's all she wrote. If you have any questions, email me at juneroldan@earthlink.net or call me at 727-645-3864. So far I have saved $5,987.41. It's so worth it. I hope you'll at least consider it. Good luck whatever you decide. |
