Open my eyes

by Tricia Marie Miel

Are these the same waters from Noah's flood?
Once so turbulent, now so still
Alive since the dawn of man
What part of the divine plan do they now fulfill?

the sun still shines
like it did when Adam came to be
and it remains
for me to see
For now until the end of eternity

They play a part - the Master's design
A mission clear, embedded in every grain of sand
Written in every twinkling star
Written in you and me
We only have to open our eyes and see

You gave me eyes so I could see
the beauty that was meant to be
and if You are all that's beautiful
I'm either blind or a fool
for questioning what I see

Open my eyes
As you've opened Your heart
To blind fools like me
Who are yearning to be...

Able to see.

Well, seeing non seeing is seeing. How can a blind SEE and if does, he ceases to be blind. Well, he gave us eyes but its obvious he wont see for us.hahahahaha

Well, you know what they say, "in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is KING". As Ashok suggests, one has to BE to SEE hahaha
