Unworthy

by Charles M Harrison

You are the glue that binds my heart
the one thing that makes it whole.
I am the dirt under your foot
not worthy to touch it’s soul.
You are the sunrise of my mornings
and the cool breeze on my skin.
I am nothing without you
as my love, my wife, my friend.
You are the brightest star at night
shinning my way back home.
I am emptiness in the darkness
shivering, frightened, and alone.
You are the fresh spring flowers
that rise from mother earth.
I am the lowest form of life
that has ever been given birth.
You are the highest mountain
that rises towards heavens door.
I am the smallest ball of dust
that is blown across the floor.
You are the favored of God
by the angels you are blessed.
I am a shadow of a shadow
sheltered in Satan’s nest.
You are my love, you are my wife
the Queen of my heart and home.
Unworthy am I to have you near
this I have always known.

You are worthy - look how you love her and she loves you. *beautiful*
