Good-bye cowboy (Tanka)

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

Old gentle spirit

enriched our lives and inspired

beautiful red mane

patient and kind you taught me

without ever speaking a word.

You were so fortunate to have such a friend in your life. A truly moving (and well constructed) tribute.

If a picture can speak a thousand words, a horse can so much more than any nay sayer. It seems as though all who cannot use words to express themselves, have poetry in their hearts that finds a way to be understood. JJ

A horse can have that effect Lisa-Dawn. A warm. word tribute you have done so well. Thank you.
