i say i'll be over
in a minute
and so i
throw off my clothes
take a
15-second shower
scent myself up
to try to be as
alluring as possible

and i come
to his doorstep
smiling, as beautiful
as i can get
and he's polite but
waits for me to leave

and i could
kill somebody
out of sheer
sexual frustration
or the fact
that i have to sit at home
smelling this good

but i guess
some boys
(the complicated ones)
take a bit more
to win them over
than a clean body
and some lip gloss
