too much thought
introspection is overrated
losing myself in myself

aimless worry
bringing no condolence
shrug off the weight it leaves

but to stay focused
eyes locked on the
tasks before me

and keep moving forward
no looking down nor back
but to the next step

for there is more to be done
there is purpose, life
stepping out of me into who i was made to be
